As a mother, there are days when I feel like I have had this little lady for years and there are times I look at her and think it was just 5 seconds ago that you were being handed to me for the first time.
Isn't it always like that? I think my mom still looks at me and thinks that at times. There is a quote that I am so fond of "The days are long, but the years are short." This little lady is into everything and so excited about every new adventure and possible exploration that she can do. She is approaching the transition into a big girl bed and I wanted to capture those last few moments of laying her down in her crib. Not too long after this, we will remove training wheels, diapers and hold her hand less and less. But today, she will be my little ladybird and rest her mind as she gets ready for whatever adventure may come her way.
